उत्तर
Hockey field is a rectangular pitch measuring 91.40 metres in length and 55 metres in width, with all boundaries clearly demarcated by white lines 75 mm wide. The field is divided into two equal halves by a Centre-line, and each half features a 23-metre line positioned 22.90 metres from the backline. At each end of the pitch, a striking semicircle known as the Shooting Circle extends 14.63 metres in front of the goal, and a legal goal can only be scored when the ball is struck by an attacking player from within this area. Directly facing each goal, a Penalty Spot is marked at a distance of 6.40 metres from the goal-line, while the goalposts themselves measure 3.66 metres wide and 2.14 metres high.
