Using the same axes of co-ordinates and the same unit, solve graphically :
x + y = 0 and 3x - 2y = 10.
(Take at least 3 points for each line drawn).

y = - x;
The table of x + y = 0 is

X	5	2	- 5
Y	- 5	- 2	5

3x - 2y = 10
⇒ x = `(10 + 2y)/(3)`
The table of 3x - 2y = 10 is

X	4	6	2
Y	1	4	- 2

Now plotting the points on a graph and we get the following required graph:

The two lines intersect at (2, - 2)
∴ x = 2 and y = - 2
