In right angled triangle
AOD (AD)2 = (AO)2 + (OD)2
(AD)2 = (10)2 + (24)2
(AD)2 = 100 + 576
(AD)2 = 676
∴ AD = `sqrt(26xx26)`
AD = 26 cm
