(ii) A sperm has 23 chromosomes; it is haploid.
(iii) Functions:
- Acrosome: Contains enzymes that help the sperm penetrate the ovum.
- Mitochondria: Supply energy for sperm movement.
- Flagellum: Propels the sperm forward.
(iv) Sperms are produced in the seminiferous tubules of the testes.
