⇒ a2x2 + ax + ax + 1 = 0
⇒ ax(ax + 1) +1 (ax + 1) = 0
⇒ ax(ax + 1) (ax + 1) = 0
⇒ (ax + 1)2 = 0
∴ ax + 1 = 0 or ax + 1 = 0
⇒ `x = -(1)/a or x = -(1)/a`
Hence x = `-(1)/a "or" x = -(1)/a`.
