उत्तर
Given, 4(3p + 2) – 5(6p – 1) = 2(p – 8) – 6(7p – 4)
⇒ 12p + 8 – 30p + 5 = 2p – 16 – 42p + 24
⇒ –18p + 13 = – 40p + 8
⇒ –18p + 40p = 8 – 13 ...[Transposing – 40p to LHS and 13 to RHS]
⇒ 22p = – 5
⇒ `(22p)/22 = (-5)/22` ...[Dividing both sides by 22]
∴ `p = (-5)/22`
