उत्तर
Shabnam’s speed = 6 km/h = `(6 xx 1000)/60` m/min
∴ Total distance covered by Shabnam in 20 min = `(6 xx 1000)/60 xx 20` ...[∵ Distance = Speed × Time]
= `1000/10 xx 20`
= 100 × 20
= 2000 m
If she want to reach the school in 24 min, then she should maintain the speed = `2000/24`
= `1000/12`
= `500/6` m/min
= `(500 xx 60)/(1000 xx 6)` ...`[∵ 1km = 1/1000 and 1h = 60 min]`
= 5 km/h
