उत्तर
Animal husbandry has an important place in India. Here cow, buffalo and bull are used for food production and agricultural work. Goats and sheep are also used for animal husbandry and meat and wool are obtained by them. In India, goat and sheep meat are specially used in the meat industry and there is a great demand for sheep wool. These animals are also used to receive fertilizer and they are also mostly promoted to graze in the fields. Sheep and goats are used to make dung (feces) in the fields, which promotes natural farming of the fields. Sheep does not have to spend much money for farming and has a good immunity. The shape of the sheep is small, so that the women of the house can also follow them easily. Therefore sheep rearing is important as livestock.
