The Right to Education means the fundamental right of children to free and compulsory education under the Act. It makes the states provide this education at any cost. The Act makes it obligatory for the state to guarantee the right to education. It also makes it obligatory to ensure compulsory admission, attendance, and completion of elementary education by every child between the ages of 6 and 14.
