    • It is composed of comparatively finer alluvium and is reclaimed for agriculture.

Soil Type Bhabar is made up of coarse pebbles and sediments. Tarai has fine alluvial soil deposited by rivers.
Water Availability In Bhabar, streams disappear underground due to high porosity. In Tarai, the underground streams re-emerge, making the land marshy.
Vegetation Bhabar has sparse vegetation due to dry conditions. Tarai is covered with dense forests and thick undergrowth.
Agricultural Use Bhabar is not suitable for agriculture. Tarai is highly fertile and suitable for agriculture.
