उत्तर
Let the required weight of the parcel be x grams.
| Number of parcels | 8 | 40 |
| Weight of the parcels in grams | 500 | x |
As the number of parcels increases weight of a parcel decreases.
∴ They are in inverse proportion.
x1y1 = x2y2
8 × 500 = 40 × x
x = `(8 xx 500)/40`
x = 100
Weight of each parcel = 100 grams
