उत्तर

We can classify the adults around who work for livelihood on the following basis:

  1. Classification on the basis of nature of work:
    1. Primary Sector: The primary sector includes all economic activities that include the exploitation of natural resources. They are kept in the primary sector, which includes agriculture, mining, and fishing.
    2. Secondary Sector: In the secondary sector, numerous valuable commodities are created using products gained from the primary sector, such as cotton cloth and sugarcane.
    3. Tertiary Sector: The tertiary sector does not create things, but it does supply services. These services contribute significantly to the growth of the primary and secondary sectors. Banking, insurance, railway communication, and transportation are all included.
  2. Classification on the basis of conditions of employment: On the basis of what are the conditions of employment, we can divide it into two parts, i.e., the Organized Sector and Unorganized Sector.
    1. Organized Sector: These activities are part of the organised sector, which requires regular employment and adherence to government rules.
    2. Unorganized Sector: The unorganised sector is beyond the government's jurisdiction. The employment period, as well as rules, bye-laws, and such, are not fixed.
  3. Classification on the basis of ownership of industries: Industries can be classified as public or private depending on who owns them.

Based on the foregoing, we can list the people around us as follows:

    1. Farmers: come under primary sector
    2. Government school teachers: Tertiary, organized, come in the public sector
