उत्तर
Julius Caesar is shown as a leader who enjoys strong support among the common people of Rome. The citizens celebrate his victories and admire him greatly, which worries the aristocrats and conspirators.
Antony’s funeral speech further proves Caesar’s concern for ordinary Romans. He reminds the crowd that Caesar brought money from conquered territories into the public treasury, showed sympathy for the poor and refused the crown three times.
Caesar’s will also reveals his generosity. He leaves seventy-five drachmas to every Roman citizen and gives his gardens and walks for public use.
In contrast, many senators fear Caesar’s growing popularity and power. Thus, Caesar appears closer to the common citizens, while the aristocratic conspirators view his influence with suspicion and anxiety.
