उत्तर

Given: In ΔBAC and ΔADC,

∠BAC ≅ ∠ADC    ...(Given)

∠ACB ≅ ∠DCA    ...(Common angle)

∴ ΔBAC ∼ ΔADC    ...(AA test of similarity)

∴ `"CA"/"CD" = "CB"/"CA"`    ...(Corresponding sides of similar triangles are in proportion)

∴ CA2 = CB × CD.
