Ravi’s annual income = Rs. 360000

Income tax paid by him = Rs. 24000

After paying income tax, the remaining amount of income

= Rs. (360000 – 24000)

= Rs. 336000

∴ The required ratio

= `(Rs.  24000)/(Rs. 336000)`

= `1/14`

= 1 : 14
