उत्तर

Biological amplification is the rise in the concentration of dangerous chemicals, such as pesticides, in the bodies of living things at every trophic level of a food chain. As the trophic level rises, the degree of biomagnification would also rise, reaching its maximum at the highest trophic level. The reason for this is that some dangerous substances, typically ones that humans have introduced but are not found in nature, may find their way into plants and/or animals. The body might not be able to swiftly, effectively, or easily break down these toxic compounds. Rather, they build up in the tissues and move from one trophic level to the next when the living thing consumes more. The highest level of carnivores accumulates the highest concentration.
