⇒ a + c = 5b
`("bc + cd")/"bd" = 5/1`
⇒ bc + cd = 5bd
⇒ bc +cd = (a + c)d
⇒ bc + cd = ad + cd
⇒ bc = ad
⇒ `"a"/"b" = "c"/"d"`
Hence a : b = c : d
