उत्तर

Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, jurisdiction is based on the value of goods or services paid as consideration. A District Commission can entertain complaints where this value does not exceed ₹ 1 crore. A State Commission can entertain complaints where the value exceeds ₹ 1 crore but does not exceed ₹ 10 crore. The State Commission also hears appeals against orders of District Commissions.
