उत्तर
Chandragupta’s empire extended from Kabul and Kandahar in the north to Mysore in the south and from Saurashtra in the west to Bengal in the east. With the cooperation of Kautilya, or Chanakya, he became successful in conquering the Nandas and annexed Magadha and made Pataliputra (Patna) his capital in 321 BC. After regular fighting against Greek ruler, Alexander, he occupied Punjab in 322 BC. Again in 306 BC he defeated Seleucus and occupied Kabul, Kandahar, Herat, Baluchistan, etc. He again extended the empire to the south.
