उत्तर

  1. The cold Labrador Current flows south from the Arctic.

  2. The warm Gulf Stream flows northward from the tropics.

  3. When these two ocean currents meet near Newfoundland, the warm, moist air of the Gulf Stream comes into contact with the cold air and water of the Labrador Current, causing the moisture in the air to condense into fog.
