• In pictures (c) and (d), the patient is being picked up. Most probably, the patient is unconscious. The immobile unconscious individual is transported using these two approaches. In method ‘c’, the patient’s weight is lower, allowing for lifting as depicted in the image. In image ‘d’, the sufferer must be elevated differently, possibly due to his increased body weight.
• In picture (e), the patient is transported in a piggyback position. He is also unconscious and requires transfer for medical treatment.
• In picture (f), the patient is transported using the 'human crutch method'. When a sufferer has an injury to one leg, he is unable to walk without assistance. Therefore, he must be transported in that manner.
