`= 2x (2x^2 + 8 - (x^2 - 2^2))` `[∵ (a + b)(a - b) = a^2 - b^2]`
`=2x(2x^2 + 8 - x^2 + 4)`
`= 2x(x^2 + 12)`
`∴ (x + 2)^3 + (x - 2)^3 = 2x(x^2 + 12)`
