Explain the classification of coordination complexes on the basis of charge on the complex.

1. Cationic complexes: They have a positively charges coordination sphere.
   e.g. [Co(NH₃)₅ Cl]SO₄, [Co(NH₃)₅ Cl]^2⊕.
2. Anionic complexes: They have a negatively charged coordination sphere.
   e.g. K₃[Fe(CN)₆], [Fe(CN₆)]^3Θ.
3. Neutral complex: A complex ion which has no net charge is called a neutral complex.
   e.g. [Pt(NH₃)₂], [Ni(CO)₄]
