1. Change in quantity demanded refers to an increase or decrease in quantity demanded for a commodity in response to a decrease or increase in its own price, other things remaining constant. Change in demand refers to an increase or decrease in demand for a commodity in response to a change in other determinants of demand other than the price of the same commodity.
2. The consumer moves downward or upward along the same demand curve. The demand curve shifts either rightward or leftward.
