उत्तर
Adjacent angles: Two angles are called adjacent angles, if:
-
They have the same vertex,
-
They have a common arm, and
-
Uncommon arms are on either side of the common arm.

In the figure above, ∠AOC and ∠BOC have a common vertex O.
Also, they have a common arm OC and the distinct arms AOand BO, lies on the opposite sides of the line OC.
Therefore, ∠AOC and ∠BOC are adjacent angles.

In the given below fig, rays OA, OB, OC, OP and 0E have the common end point O. Show
that ∠AOB + ∠BOC + ∠COD + ∠DOE + ∠EOA = 360°.

If two straight lines intersect each other, prove that the ray opposite to the bisector of one of the angles thus formed bisects the vertically opposite angle.
Define supplementary angles.
State, true or false:
A line segment 4 cm long can have only 2000 points in it.
State, true or false:
A ray has one endpoint and a line segment has two end-points.
State, true or false:
An infinite number of straight lines can be drawn through a given point.
