We know that the base angles of an isosceles triangle are equal.

(i) Draw a line segment AC = 5cm.
(ii) At A and C, draw rays making an angle of 75° each which intersects each other at B.
∆ ABC is the required triangle.
On measuring the equal sides, each is 9.3 cm in length.
