  • Viruses are non-cellular organisms that are characterized by having any crystal structure outside the living cell.
  • The name virus means Venom or poisonous fluid.

TYPES OF VIRUSES

  • PLANT VIRUS:- Virus that infect plant single-stranded RNA.
  • ANIMAL VIRUS:-Virus that infect animals have either single or double-stranded RNA or double-stranded DNA.
  • BACTERIAL VIRUS OR BACTERIOPHAGE:- Viruses that infect the bacteria are usually double-stranded DNA viruses.
