Question

Check the Table Tennis tables of your school by bouncing a Table Tennis ball as per the rules.

Answer 1

Drop a standard table-tennis ball onto the playing surface from a height of 30 cm and observe its bounce. The book states that a regulation table should produce a uniform bounce of about 23 cm. Record your measured bounce and compare it with this value. If the bounce varies noticeably across the table, report that the surface may not be uniform.
