Perimeter of the square field = 4 x side = 4 x 70m = 280m
Perimeter of rectangular field = 2 (length + breadth)
= 2 (50 m + 40 m)
= 2 x 90 m
= 180 m
∴Square field has greater perimeter by 280 m – 180 m
= 100 m
