उत्तर

Let the required number be x.

Then, x divided by `6 = x/6`.

It is given that when x is divided by 6, gives the quotient as 6.

So, we obtain the following equation

`x/6 = 6`

⇒ `x/6 xx 6 = 6 xx 6`  ...[Multiplying both sides by 6]

⇒ x = 36

Hence, the required number is 36.
