उत्तर

Given:

Current, I = 1 A

Time, t = 16 s

Charge on one electron, e = 1.6 × 10−19 C

Using,

Q = I × t

= 1 × 16

= 16 C

Number of electrons, n = `Q/e`

= `16/(1.6 xx 10^-19)`

= 10 × 1019

= 1020

The number of electrons passing through the cross-section of the filament is 1020.
