उत्तर १

Thousands of years ago, a demon had stolen all the water in the world. Innocent people died because of a lack of water. This demon could not be defeated by a weapon made of ordinary material like wood, metal, etc. Something extraordinary was needed to kill him. It came to be known that the sage Dadhichi had bones that had extraordinary power. The sage was a noble person. When he came to know this, he sacrificed his life and gave his own bones to make the weapon to help the people. Thus, Indra-vajra was a weapon made from these bones of sage Dadhichi and the demon was defeated with the use of this weapon.

उत्तर २

Many years ago, a demon set out on a mission: steal all the water in the world! The consequence was very serious. Innocent people suffered and lost their lives. They had no water to quench their thirst.

Defeating this demon with an ordinary weapon was not possible. An extraordinary weapon was required. Sage Dadhichi, whose bone had extraordinary power, was the only person who could save the people from the demon's clutches. But how could anyone ask a man for his bones?

Sage Dadhichi was a nobleman who sacrificed his life and gave his bones to help the people. Using the bones of Sage Dadhichi, Indra’s thunderbolt weapon was designed, and this matchless weapon helped Indra defeat the demon.

Through Sage Dadhichi’s sacrifice, we learn the value of selflessness and the significance of sacrificing our lives for the greater good.
