उत्तर

Given: a = −4 and d = −1

an = a + (n − 1)d.

a1 = a = −4

a2 = a + d

= −4 + (−1)

= −5

a3 = a + 2d

= −4 + 2(−1)

= −6

a4 = a + 3d

= −4 + 3(−1)

= −7

Therefore, the first four terms are: −4, −5, −6, −7.
