उत्तर
According to Arrhenius ionic theory:
- An electrolyte dissociates in water to form free mobile ions which are cations and anions. The movement of these ions causes the flow of electric current through it.
- All ions bear an electric charge and are responsible for the flow of current through the solution.
- Electrolytic conductivity depends on the concentration of ions in the solution.
- The solution is always in electrolytic equilibrium since the total positive charge is equal to the total negative charge.
