उत्तर

  1. Winston Churchill (Britain), Franklin D. Roosevelt (USA), and Joseph Stalin (USSR) were the leaders of the Allies at the Yalta Conference in February 1945.
  2. It was an important meeting that helped end World War II. After the war, they talked about how Europe would be reorganised, especially what would happen to Germany, which was going to be split into four control zones: British, American, Soviet, and French.
  3. They also agreed that the United Nations should be made and that Eastern Europe should have free elections.
  4. But soon, disagreements about ideas and goals, especially when it came to Eastern Europe, caused distrust and tension, which set the stage for the Cold War.
