उत्तर

Functions of receptors:

  • They sense external stimuli such as heat or pain.
  • They are located in our sense organs, such as the inner ear, nose, tongue, eye, etc.
  • They also trigger an impulse in the sensory neuron, which sends a message to the spinal cord.
  • The receptors in our body collect information about changes in the environment around us in the form of stimuli.
