उत्तर

`"E"^Θ ("Zn"^(2+))//("Zn")` = − 0.76 V

Negative sign shows that the reducing power of zinc is greater than that of hydrogen.

\[\ce{Zn + H2SO4 -> ZnSO4 + H2}\]

Hg2+/Hg = 0.79 V

Mg2+/Mg = −2.37 V, Cr3+/Cr = −0.74 V

Arrange these metals in their increasing order of reducing power.
