उत्तर
A semi-molar solution is a solution that contains 0.5 moles of solute dissolved in enough solvent to make one litre of solution. It has a molarity of 0.5 M, meaning it is half as concentrated as a one molar solution. For example, dissolving 29.25 grams of sodium chloride (with a molar mass of 58.5 g/mol) in water and making the final volume up to one litre gives a semi-molar NaCl solution.
