उत्तर
The three categories of wired media are:
1. Twisted-pair cables -The cables are entangled in Twisted Pair Cable to minimize cross talk and electromagnetic interference. Alexander Graham Bell invented it in 1881. It's a lot easier to set up. The wire sets are extremely useful and affordable. The wire may be used to transmit analog or digital data.
2. Coaxial wire cables: A collection of bundled and shielded wire lines is known as coaxial cable. They send data at a faster pace. A central core conductor is present in the coax. The copper wire serves as the conductor, which is encased in PVC insulation. This insulation is protected by a metal foil electrical surface that is encased in a PVC insulation sheath. It's also fully enclosed by a plastic shell.
3. Optic fibre cables: Fiber-optic cable allows for high-speed, high-quality data transmissions. In the middle of the fibre optic cable is a glass heart. Light travels through the glass heart. The glass core is then encased in a cladding of glass. This has a smaller refractive index than the core since light is trapped inside the core. A thin plastic coat is used to cover the cladding.
