उत्तर
Sacred forests, also known as sacred groves, are forest areas surrounding places of worship that tribal communities value highly. They are the most undisturbed forest patches, frequently surrounded by severely degraded landscapes. They are found in several parts of India, including Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan (Aravalli), Madhya Pradesh (Sarguja, Bastar), Kerala, and Meghalaya.
