उत्तर

Outwash plains are glacial plains formed by the deposition of fine glacial sediments, known as outwash, which are carried and laid down by meltwater streams flowing away from a glacier. These plains consist mainly of sorted and stratified materials like sand and gravel, deposited by glacial meltwater, creating flat or gently sloping landforms. They differ from till plains, which are formed by unsorted glacial deposits of various sizes. Outwash plains are typically found in regions previously covered by glaciers.
