The mass of 5.6 dm3 of a certain gas at STP is 12.0 g. Calculate the relative molecular mass of the gas.

5.6 litres of gas at STP has mass = 12 g

So, 22.4 litre (molar volume) has mass =`12/5.6 xx 22.4`

= 48 g
