प्रश्न

The current I1 in a wire is getting divided in two wires with currents I2 and I3 at a junction in a circuit. The currents in the three wires are related by I1 = I2 + I3.

  1. State the fundamental law from which this relation is derived.
  2. Explain the validation of the law of conservation of energy in Kirchhoff’s voltage law?

उत्तर

A. The relation I1 = I2 + I3 is derived from Kirchhoff’s Current Law (KCL), which is based on the law of conservation of charge.

It states that the total current entering a junction equals the total current leaving it.

B. KVL follows the law of conservation of energy.

In a closed loop, the total energy supplied by the sources is equal to the total energy consumed in the resistive elements.

Hence, the algebraic sum of all voltages in a closed loop is zero.
