Let us suppose the cost of 8 quintals of soyabean is `x` rupees.
The number of soyabeans and their cost vary in direct proportion.
∴ `12/36,000=8/x`
⇒ x = `(8xx36,000)/12`
⇒ x = 24,000
Hence, the cost of 8 quintals of soyabean is 24,000 rupees.
