The construction industry is thought to be quite hazardous and to have the highest number of fatal work injuries because, among other reasons, stakeholders in this industry tend to disregard safety regulations.
The nature and demands of the task determine the workers' schedules. As a result of their excessive workload and exhaustion, people become more likely to be involved in accidents. Sometimes people put in extra hours of work without thinking about getting tired. Construction workers' health problems are another factor in fatalities because they are uninsured in India. As a result, individuals become ill in severe weather but are unable to go to the hospital because of a lack of funds. Due to a lack of safety precautions in the mining sites, another cause of the fatalities is that they are buried under the ground. Construction company managers view their employees as mere machines and feel superior to them. Such an emotion breeds miscommunication among the staff. Last but not least, deadly incidents on construction sites are also brought on by a lack of training.
Safety is a vital part of any project to reduce the cost of the project. Safety on construction sites protects the public. Safety also reduces work-related accidents. Hence, a culture of safety should be developed on the construction site. So, give workers training to improve their safety and the safety of the public.
