Solve the following equation by factorization
3x2 – 5x – 12 = 0
Advertisements
उत्तर
3x2 – 5x – 12 = 0
⇒ 3x2 – 9x + 4x – 12 = 0
⇒ 3x (x – 3) + 4(x – 3) = 0
⇒ (x - 3) (3x + 4) = 0
EIther x - 3 = 0,
then x = 3
or
3x + 4 = 0,
then 3x = -4
⇒ x = `(-4)/(3)`
Hence x = 3, `(-4)/(3)`.
