उत्तर

There were two major trade routes in early India:

  1. Uttarpatha
  2. Dakshinapatha

These routes were important trade networks that connected faraway parts of the Indian subcontinent. Traders used them to carry goods such as textiles, spices and metals, but they also helped in the exchange of culture and ideas. Travelling artisans shared their skills, scholars exchanged knowledge, and monks spread religions such as Buddhism and Hinduism. In this way, the movement of people, goods and ideas brought different regional traditions together and helped develop a rich and interconnected Indian culture.
