उत्तर
- Vermicomposting means artificial rearing or cultivation of worms, especially earthworms, for decomposing biodegradable substances.
- Farmers are keen to adopt vermicomposting because Vermicompost is an excellent organic fertilizer that improves soil texture. It does not involve laborious procedures and high cost. Composting is done using food waste, bedding materials, and worms and wigglers. These raw materials are readily available at a low or no cost.
