उत्तर
x2 – 5x + 6 = 0; 2, – 3
When x = 2, then
(2)2 - 5 x 2 + 6
= 4 - 10 + 6
= 10 - 10
= 0
When x = -3, then
(-3)2 -5(-3) + 6
= 9 + 15 + 6
= 30 ≠ 0
∴ x = -3 is not its solution
∴ 2 is root of the equation by -3 is not a root.
