Give two behavioural adaptations of desert animals.

1. Desert lizards manage to keep their body temperature fairly constant by behavioural adaptations. They bask in the sun and absorb heat, but when their body temperature drops below the comfort zone, they move into shade when the ambient temperature starts increasing.
2. Some species burrow into the sand to hide and escape from the heat.
